Rotterdam – Rody Overwater wordt met ingang van 1 september 2022 algemeen directeur (CEO) bij coeo in Nederland en België. Hij neemt hiermee het stokje over van de huidige directie Niels de Peuter (CEO) en Roman Berkhout (CCO), zij nemen per 1 november 2022 afscheid van coeo in hun huidige rol.

coeo (voorheen CIB) is sinds haar oprichting 15 jaar geleden uitgegroeid tot een toonaangevende speler op de Nederlandse en Europese credit management markt. In coeo’s ambitie om een van de meest innovatieve credit management partners in Europa te zijn en te blijven, streeft zij naar operational excellence. Rody Overwater is met zijn expertise dan ook de perfecte kandidaat om coeo hierin naar een hoger niveau te brengen.

Rody Overwater is al sinds 2010 actief binnen de credit management branche. Eerder was Rody werkzaam als Directeur Operations Benelux bij Intrum. Vanuit zijn ervaring kan Rody veel toevoegen aan de groei en kwaliteitsslag van coeo in Nederland. “De laatste paar jaar is er bij coeo een gigantische groei doormaakt en die groei wil ik met het team samen verder voortzetten. Uiteraard zonder daarbij aan kwaliteit in te boeten en het nóg professioneler neer te zetten. Wat ik persoonlijk belangrijk vind is om in een informele mensgerichte organisatie te werken, waar hard werken en humor samengaan.”

Niels de Peuter heeft veel vertrouwen in de nieuwe CEO: “Rody is iemand die het bedrijf verder kan leiden in de volgende fase, iemand die kan voldoen aan de behoeften die het bedrijf op dit moment heeft en daarmee de volgende fase tot een succes kan maken.”

Beide blijven nog enige tijd betrokken bij de organisatie in een adviserende rol.

Rody Overwater new CEO of coeo in the Netherlands and Belgium

Rotterdam – Rody Overwater will become the CEO of coeo in the Netherlands and Belgium, effective 1 September 2022. He takes over from the current executives, Niels de Peuter (CEO) and Roman Berkhout (CCO). They are leaving the Company as of 1 November 2022.

Since its establishment 15 years ago, coeo (formerly CIB) has become a leading player in the Dutch and European credit management market. The ambition of coeo is to be and remain one of the most innovative credit management partners in Europe, based on operational excellence. With his expertise, Rody Overwater is the perfect candidate to take coeo to the next level.

Rody Overwater has been active within the credit management industry since 2010. Previously, Rody served as Director of Operations Benelux at Intrum. Based on his experience, Rody can add a lot to the growth and quality of coeo in the Netherlands. “In the past few years, coeo has seen tremendous growth. I want to continue that growth together with the team  without compromising on quality and professionalism, of course. What I personally find important is to work in an informal, people-oriented organisation where hard work and a sense of humour go hand in hand.

Niels de Peuter has great confidence in the new CEO: “Rody is someone who can lead the company into the next phase, someone who can meet the needs that the company currently has and make the next phase a success.”
